Moving does not have to be stressful. Carefree Moves makes moving day a calm experience. We pack up the existing residence, leave the house empty or prepare it for staging, and then in your new home we unpack the boxes with care and organize your kitchen and closets. We also place the furniture, hang the pictures, make the beds, and remove and recycle all boxes and packing materials. At the end of move-in day, you walk into your new home and every single thing is in place. Absolutely no detail is overlooked.

Carefree Moves is an all-women company with a team of over twenty dedicated and professional organizers/packers. Some of them have worked with the company since it was established in 1995. Each move begins with a complimentary consultation. It includes a visit to your home to determine the size and scope of the job together with preparing a timeline. Every move has a Move Manager who is with you from the beginning to the end and helps you through every step of the moving process. She heads a team of two or three women who come to your home and, if needed, help you get organized before the move with what to keep, toss, give away or sell. They then professionally pack all of your possessions with meticulous care.

POPULAR Services
The Pack-Up:
We assign a Move Ambassador to be your personal advocate and voice throughout the entire move.
Our professional organizers help you determine what to keep, toss, donate, or sell.
All items are meticulously hand-packed and labeled.
All donations will be removed from the premises and taken to local charities.
We send you a charitable donation tax receipt.
We also fully arrange for items to be taken for consignment, auction, or estate sale.
At the end of the Pack-Up, we arrange for a disposal of all remaining trash and unwanted items.
You can choose your moving company or select from our thoroughly qualified and trusted recommendations.
The Un-Pack:
With this unique service, our staff meets the moving truck at your new residence to unpack the boxes and completely prepare the home for you.
We set up the entire kitchen.
We organize all the closets.
We place the furniture and hang the artwork.
We make the beds for the first night in your new home.
We remove and recycle all of the packing material.
We leave you with homemade soup for your first meal in your new home.
When you arrive at your new home you can begin enjoying it immediately. We really do take care of everything.

Cynthia gets great joy out of helping people get their lives and homes more organized. In addition to alleviating the stress that comes with moving, she loves working closely with clients to make their new space comfortable, functional, and stylish. It’s no coincidence that prior to Carefree Moves, she had been staging homes professionally for over 14 years. Cynthia has helped hundreds of clients throughout the Bay Area through her home staging business.
